I have experienced first hand that picture day can be stressful. Most of the stress can be alleviated with knowledge. I have compiled a list of most commonly asked questions to make your experience a pleasant one.
When Should I Book My Session?
There is a saying "Fix cart in winter and your sled in summer". Busy seasons for a photographer are summer/fall (weddings), spring-(senior photos) and Christmas - (family photos). Consider this and try to plan your session in the "off season". Ideally I would take your Christmas card photo in October and plan your wedding a year ahead. I would prefer if you book your session at least two weeks ahead of time, but I will take on a short notice assignment if that does not conflict with my prior engagements. One hundred dollar charge will apply to rushed orders (when images are needed in less that two weeks).
How Do I Book My Session?
Please, fill out my " Book Your Session" page and I will respond to you as soon as possible.
Where Do We Take Our Pictures?
There will be NO charge for traveling within a twenty-mile area outside of LInden, California. Additional charge may apply for traveling outside the 95236 zip code. I specialize in lifestyle photography. All sessions are held outside. I will provide you with some suggestions once we discuss the location, however, I would love to hear your recommendations.
How Long Is My Session?
Your photo session will last anywhere from one to three hours. The length of a session is individual. For example, I realize that young children loose interest quickly, their session would probably not last as long as a senior photo session. Newborn photography may take longer, since they require the most time and attention.
When Is the Best Time to Take Pictures?
The best light for photography is either early in the morning or before sunset.
