Congratulations, you have decided to get a family portrait!

I know that it is hard to find the right photographer that fits your personality and budget. I am grateful for your consideration.  I have been photographing families since 2011. I truly enjoy working with kids, big and small. It is wonderful to have an ability to record a family moment that will be cherished for generations.

I understand that photography is an investment. I may not be the cheapest photographer in town, but I believe that my price is justified by my good work ethics, talent as well as dedication and contributions to our local town's events.

I proud myself in delivering high quality prints and products to my clients. I would be more than happy to design your Christmas cards, photo books and wall displays.

There is a saying "Fix cart in winter and your sled in summer". Busy seasons for a photographer are summer/fall/ spring-(senior photos) and Christmas - (family photos).

 Ideally I would take your Christmas card photo in October and your senior portraits at least two months before graduation.

I would prefer if you book your session several months ahead of time, but I will take on a short notice assignment if that does not conflict with my prior engagements. One hundred  and fifty dollar charge will apply to rushed orders (when images are needed in less that two weeks).

To secure your photo session's date, please sign, date and return the photo contract. (Provided once the session's date is discussed.)

You will be asked to put down a $100  deposit  to secure your date. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your session less than seven days before the agreed date. If the photo session proceeds in the agreed upon timeline, $100 will be applied towards the sitting fee.

The session is designed for an immediate family only (grandparents included). Additional families added to the photo session will be charged $50 each (family) when individual family portraits are desired apart from the whole family photo.

SITTING FEE

The sitting fee is $350  due at the time of your session. The sitting fee covers photographer's time during the session and editing the images.

There will be NO charge for traveling within a twenty-mile area outside of LInden, California.

Additional charge may apply for traveling outside the 95236 zip code. I specialize in lifestyle photography.

All sessions are held outside. I will provide you with some suggestions once we discuss the location, however, I would love to hear your recommendations.

A family photo session usually lasts anywhere from 40 - 90 minutes. The length of a session is individual.

The best light for photography is either early in the morning or before sunset.

For example, I realize that young children lose interest quickly, their session would probably not last as long as a senior photo session. 

You will look most natural when you are comfortable. Here are some general clothing/make-up suggestions:

1) Extra mascara/eye shadow helps to bring out the eyes.

2) I retouch minor blemishes for no extra charge.

3) Wear warm colors( red, brown, orange, gold, dark green) in fall and cool colors in spring/summer (beige, pink, light blue, pale green etc.) . Avoid white if possible.

4) Don't try new hairstyles right before your photo session.

5) You may want to avoid very short skirts, as they will restrict your movements.

6) Baggy clothing may make you appear larger than you are.

7) Avoid clothes with words, except school logo. Be mindful of clothing with print, it may shift focus off your face.

8) It is best to wear long sleeves. They eye is drawn to skin. The focus of the picture should be your face.

9)Tan lines are seen on pictures and are hard to retouch.

10 ) Manicure and pedicure are suggested.

Shortly after your session one-two photo "teasers" will be put on Facebook or Instagram for you to view and share. At this time please schedule your Photo Gallery Viewing Appointment.

In 2-3 weeks your photo gallery will be ready. During the Viewing Appointment you can look at 10 - 24 edited images. We can order your prints, wall displays, cards and other products. If you are unable to schedule an appointment, we can order via phone/email.

*All galleries will be edited in a chronological order on first come, first serve basis.  All rush orders will be charged extra $150.00

With a $350.00 purchase of prints and products  (this does NOT include the sitting fee) you will receive full resolution digital files of photos ordered. 

With a $500.00 or more  purchase of prints and products I release your full gallery via download.

You may purchase your digital file gallery for $1000.00

I will email you the digital copies of the photos you ordered  shortly after you place your order of $350 in prints or products.

Shortly after you place an order of $500 or more, I will notify you when your Gallery Download is available (usually 2-4 weeks after the day of your session). Once you have been notified, you will have 24 hours to download the gallery in allotted time, please contact me for further assistance. 

Whole gallery download link will appear next to "Buy Photos" button on the top right of your gallery.  It seems to work only on desktops/laptops. Be sure to use the correct email address as a link will be emailed to you.

After I release the download to you, you are responsible for it and will not get a new one. However, you may order prints off my website as long as they are in the client's galleries. (About six months after the photo shoot).
